The Pulitzer prize in music is awarded each year to an outstanding piece by an American composer, and is the most coveted and prestigious American composition award.  The Playground celebrates great American chamber music with a concert of works by Pulitzer winners and finalists, including Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty member Don Byron.
